The Gi.Metal baking steel is ideal for your home oven. In just a few minutes, you can get results comparable to those of a professional pizza oven. The baking steel measures 40 x 35 cm and is made of 4 mm thick stainless steel with a much higher heat conductivity than stone or aluminium. The baking steel absorbs, stores and transfers heat to ensure optimal and even baking. The baking steel is ideal for pizza and bread products in general and other foods such as meat, fish, vegetables and much more.

Instructions for use
We recommend that you place the baking steel in the middle or on the highest level in the oven. The baking steel can be placed both when the oven is switched off and at the desired temperature. After using the baking steel, we advise you to wait until it has cooled down completely before removing it from the oven. 
 Use 3% olive oil when preparing the dough for the baking steel. This way you will get the edge colour like in a pizza oven.
